Miss Mary

Product review and trial for my nails.

2014 NailsThe other day I saw a product on QVC that would maybe help me grow better nails. Karen Orloski is the creator of the product.  I’ve had the acrylics, pink and white (love those), and no chip – which none of these products, ladies, are healthy for your finger nails.  They look beautiful but you’re just destroying the nail base.  I thought, I can give up my no chip to see if this would work.  It’s worth a try.  2014 nails 2

The video was certainly a plus to me.  I don’t have an underside to my nails at all.  So I’m giving it a try.  Let’s see if I can keep it up.  It’s the cost of a no-chip session.  So I’d be saving a bunch.  Each bottle is a two month supply (that’s 2 to 3 no chips a month at $35 a shot saves me $210 in two months).

It’s 4 star rated.  People with acrylics use this on their cuticles.  I’ll still get manicures (only $15) but I need to get back to healthy.

Here’s the info from the site:

What is it: T.I.P.S., “The Incredible Protection System,” is a quick and simple one-step approach to achieving beautiful, healthy-looking nails and cuticles–for less than five minutes a day–all in the comfort of your own home. A must-have for anyone wanting to improve and maintain conditioned nails and cuticles. Each 0.24-fl oz container is an approximate two-month supply.

Who is it for: Nail Conditioner is for anyone who desires strong, beautiful, healthy- looking nails and cuticles. Perfect for both women and men.
Suitable for all ages.

Why is it different: Nail Conditioner contains a  lipid-rich solution that’s formulated to penetrate the nail plate and cuticle area with lipids to help condition and moisturize nails and cuticles.

How do I use it: Best results will be achieved by applying Nail Conditioner first  thing in the morning, every morning, before your hands have been in contact with water. It is important to shake Nail Conditioner before every use. Apply to the  entire nail surface, to your cuticle area, the skin around the nail, and to the underside of your nail. Rub any excess into your hands as if you are applying a hand lotion. Never massage the nail or cuticle area. There is no waiting period required after application–you can immediately place your hands into water afterwards. Nail Conditioner may be reapplied two to three times per day to dry nails (nails that have been out of water for at least one hour). Take the first 60 seconds of your day to protect your nails and cuticles for the remainder of the day.
