I ran across a quilting site that is amazing for those whom are looking for techniques that make the process go a little faster. It’s called Heartspun Quilts. It’s authored by Pam Buda. From her “About Me” on her blogger site she’s very talented. She is a fellow Illinoisian, living in Mokena, Illinois. She likes to do quilt-a-longs that don’t take a lot of time.
“Pam designs quilts for her company Heartspun Quilts. She is also the creator of the Prairie Women’s Sewing Circle club, which focuses on small reproduction quilts, life in America~ circa 1840-1900, as well as “Make-do” quilts. She now designs fabric for Marcus Fabrics and her first collection debuted in July of 2012. Pam lives in a suburb of Chicago with her husband Ed, daughter Nicole, son Ryan, and their Yorkie Bella.”
Looking at her quilt-a-longs, they’re really simple and I can bring my Ipad down into the basement to use as directions. I have plenty of scraps from two major quilts that would go well with her latest.
