Lilies
I have quite a few species of lilies in my gardens. They bloom intermittingly through the summer months. The Trumpet Lilies are really my favorites as they herald loudly in the garden. They come from bulbs and should be planted in the fall.
The yellow day lilies are a welcomed species. They provide a vivid summer display. Their gorgeous color is arresting to the viewer. How does one capture that color? To propagate day lilies you have to divide them in fall or spring. They need dividing every 3 to 4 years to remain healthy.
