One of the easiest sewing projects I’ve ever done is the Yellow Brick Road Quilt by Atkinson Designs. A wonderful lady over at Quilt in Joy, Nona was our instructor. (LOVE, love, love her) She was exceptionally patient with our small class of three. We had a great time.
I have a quick little project to do that Yellow Brick Road would expedite my need for speed. A little almost five year old assisted me today in picking out all the fabrics. The request on this quilt was to have “fairies in each corner and a lady bug in the center”. We compromised with two purple polka dots, pink gingham, pink polka dots, sunflowers, and lady bugs.
This is a must get done in a few short weeks. I have another project ahead of this that I have to ship off soon. Plus the cookie lady needs to get a few cookies made for a four year old by Saturday.
